Councilmembers approved a 2-year contract extension with GFL for trash collection services. The Council will hold a special meeting on June 14 at 6 p.m. to review the city’s proposed 2024-25 budget.
After an initial disagreement and ultimate reconsideration, the council unanimously approved a 2-year extension on a trash contract with GFL, but failed to approve the 2024-2025 budget. Instead, councilmembers voted 3-1 to meet June 14 at 6 p.m. to review the budget line-by-line.
