They are discussing treatment of water and the elements used. Right now they are discussing Total Organic Carbon. There was mention that we, Detroit, received a citation.
How are the Total Organic Carbons (TOCs) coming in. There is a need for monitoring and compliance.
Clarification: We got a public notification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Cheryl Porter is explaining that we are in a "yellow light" phase. Tier 2.
EGLE has approved GLWA's method "SUBA" as a means for removing DBP disinfectant byproducts to ensure compliance. This is concerning regulatory water testing.
